The best actor award for 2007 goes to Superstar Rajinikanth for the film Sivaji and 2008 Best actor award goes to Ulaganayagan Kamalhasan for his performance in the movie Dasavatharam. C.M. Mr.M.Karunanidhi will get best dialogue writer award for the film Uliyin Osai.

2007 Best actress Jyothika for the film Mozhi, Best Director Thankar Bachan, Best Music Director – Vidyasagar – for the movie Mozhi. Best film award goes to Sivaji -1st, Mozhi – 2nd and Pallikoodam – 3rd place. Special best film award goes to Periyar. . Special best actor award goes to Sathyaram for Onpathu rupa note and Best actress award to Padmapriya for Mirugam.
